Exelon Salesforce Software Application Developer in DE PERE, Wisconsin
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Provide in-depth analysis of existing Salesforce CRM system issues and associated integration issues, provide architectural solutions and recommendations on new build, and technical expertise to support delivery and maintenance of existing Salesforce implementation and associated web services. Provide IT teams and business personnel with technology solutions by weighing advantages of technology standards, market availability of products, risks and benefits of technology to meet business/IT needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provide technical expertise and/or engineering support for maintaining performance and reliability of key IT solutions. Contribute to project technical architecture design and development.
Assist IT Architecture and Engineering community in planning the introduction of new technologies and/or identifying the most appropriate technology choices to accomplish goals by utilizing Exelon’s standard governance process as outlined in the Management Model. Ensure appropriate implementation of technology both within the production and the development environments.
Build and maintain knowledge of new technologies or technology opportunities and assist in analysis of their use for business and/or IT clients.
Identify and provide Business and IT data on IT trends and issues. Provide level of effort estimates for work and define high-level approach. Participate in IT architecture review and standards setting. Assist in the development of white papers, conducting presentations as needed to explain why a technology is being recommended by IT.
Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners.
Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function & follow existing compliance processes
Apply technical knowledge to maintain, improve, and build new digital solutions for the Retail Energy Salesforce implementation
Maintain deep knowledge of technology and its application across Exelon
Promote knowledge via seminars, presentations and publications within IT and Exelon
Participate in technological innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems
Work under minimal supervision.
Undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information science, math, physics or equivalent and typically 5 plus years experience in IT or quantitative analytics functions
Demonstrates strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
Strong technical understanding required of Lightning, Force.com, Sales Cloud
In depth experience of Enterprise Architecture and integrations with Salesforce (APIs, REST/Bulk, SSO, Identity and Access Management)
Pre-existing understanding of Salesforce Design and Development Best Practices, Apex Design Parameters, Governor Limits, Shared Platform Best Practices
Be familiar with following technologies and concepts such as Responsive Design, AJAX/JSON, Entity Framework 4.5 or >, NLog, Documeting and leveraging APIs
Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms
Strong analytics knowledge/experience in the areas of maintaining, supporting, and creating Commercial grade websites
Knowledge of development languages - C#, ASP.NET, MVC/Web API, WCF Services
